Railway stock: Navratna PSU secures over Rs 100 crore contract - Check name, order details

Railway Stock, RVNL Share: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) -- a Navratna PSU company, on Thursday said it received a Letter of Award (LOA) from East Coast Railway for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system for rolling stock.According to the PSU company, the project will be executed and valued at Rs 96.4 crore (excluding GST). According to the RVNL, it is the sole bidder. Moreover, the project work is scheduled to commence within 30 days of the contract issuance and is expected to be completed within 180 days thereafter.RVNL Q2 results highlightsState-owned RVNL on Tuesday posted around 20 per cent fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 230.52 crore in the September quarter. The PSU firm had clocked a net profit of Rs 286.90 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.The company's total income rose to Rs 5,333.36 crore from Rs 5,136.07 crore during July-September FY25. During the quarter, RVNL's expenses surged to Rs 5,015 crore from Rs 4,731.52 crore a year ago.RVNL stock vs BSE Sensex: Past performanceOver the short term, RVNL’s stock performance has been under pressure, slipping 1.74 per cent in the past month and falling 21.93 per cent over the last six months.
